Workshops and courses are offered to all interested persons, no matter what Bonsai experience or skill level. The intent of the workshop/courses is to demystify the world of Bonsai and encourage each participant to express themselves using some or many of the tried and tested and some new techniques to produce a living art form. Like all hobbies, interests and lifestyles, Bonsai is ever evolving and adapting to new ideas, forms and materials. Knowing and practising the basics empowers the enthusiast to explore the many wonders of the yet undeveloped Bonsai. |

Bonsai Basics Workshop |

The Bonsai Basics Workshop is for the budding hobbyist and is delivered in two x (3) three-hour sessions, on the one day, with morning tea and a ½ break for lunch. Attendees will learn the fundamental styling principles of Bonsai, as well as how to wire, shape, prune and pot two (2) trees, which are yours to keep. All materials, including pots and trees, course notes, use of necessary tools and morning tea will be provided. |

Private Workshops are one on one personal tuition at your place or in the Studio. The workshop is totally flexible in the delivery and the areas / styles covered. |

Group workshops |

|
Cost from $40 |
|
|
Group workshops covering Specific Bonsai Styles and Techniques, and other related topics, like making your own crescent pot are also offered. These workshops will be priced according to the time required and materials used. |

Bookings and a $30.00 deposit are essential for all workshops / courses – the deposit is non-refundable, however can be transferred for up to 6 months from original booking date. |

Workshop Conditions
|
|
Bonsai Basics and Group Workshops are subject to a minimum number attendance.
If workshops are cancelled, your deposit will be transferred to another workshop date of your choice. |

|
|
|
|
Please note that the 'Advanced/Topical' workshops are only open to those with previous Bonsai experience of at least our 'Bonsai Basic' workshop or similar.
